Eliot is a deep tech operator with a passion for frontier markets investing. From 2013-2018, Eliot founded and led McLarty Associate’s Africa practice. He is a member of the United States Trade Representative’s Advisory Committee on Africa, Yale University's President's Council on International Activities and a former international affairs fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. He has an MA from Yale, and grew up on Vancouver Island (near Tofino).
Aubrey hruby
The co-author of the award-winning book, The Next Africa, Aubrey served as the Managing Director of the Whitaker Group prior to Tofino Capital. She is a visiting fellow at the Atlantic Council and advisor at Palladium Group, a government contractor. Aubrey has consulted extensively in 30+ African markets. She has an MBA from the Wharton School and MA from Georgetown University.
